If anyone likes the PXTone format (who doesn’t?!) and also happens to use Gamemaker, I have created a wrapper DLL that allows the PXtone sound engine to be utilized from within Gamemaker.

It includes the DLL, the scripts, a GM6 example and a list of all the functions and what they do.

You can use my wrapper in free or commercial stuff (I don’t know if Pixel has a different license agreement for PXtone.dll), but credits or a link to this site would be nice.

This is just the original Biddie Crisis video, but I thought I’d post it here for those who haven’t seen it.

The music is borrowed from Phobia 3 and the background is from Phobia 2. They will be changed in the released version.

I’ve been trying to get as much done on Biddie Crisis as I can. There’s still a bit left to do, but it’s mainly mundane stuff like the menu and highscore screens. I’m hoping to release it within the next two weeks if possible, its been sat around on my harddrive for too long and I really need to get it done! The first release will probably somewhat of a test version. I haven’t had many people test it so far, so the balance of the game is probably still slightly off. I’m hoping any feedback I get when its released will help improve the later versions.

I’ve just added a new page to this blog called “Projects”. I’ll be putting my current projects on there, but also some of my unfinished past projects, too. My 4 colour shooter Axion has just been added, so check it out if you haven’t played it yet! (it’s still only a demo ;_; )

Oh hey, new website! This is like my personal development blog thingy that everyone and their mum has these days. I’ll be updating it with stuff like how my games are coming along, what I had for dinner and what the lady across the road with the wooden leg is currently doing (up to no good, I’ll bet!).
